More Creativity, More Flexibility: Why ETB Needed a Studio
When discussing what this week's newsletter should be about, we reflected on what was already making a difference for us going into 2025. The answer was clear—having our own studio. It gives us the creative freedom to try new things, test ideas, and react quickly to our clients' requests.
At Eric Tom & Bruce, we’re always looking for ways to better serve our clients, create exceptional content, and work smarter. So, when the opportunity arose last year to rethink our space, we saw it as more than just a logistical challenge—it was a chance to invest in the future of our business.
Mid last year, we needed to move out of our existing space. Rather than rushing into a new lease, we took a step back and asked: What kind of space would truly benefit our business and our clients? The answer was clear. We wanted a dedicated, flexible studio that could support a variety of production needs—from food and beverage content to interviews, testimonial shoots, and custom set builds. We knew that having our own studio—purpose-built for high-quality content production—would be a game-changer.
With that vision in mind, we took the leap with Pink Brick Studios, a fully equipped production space designed to enhance our work. Finding the right space took time—we wanted to ensure it would be the best possible fit for both the team and our clients. We’ve invested in the fit-out, ensuring we had the right setup, including a fully functional kitchen that allows us to bring food and beverage content to life with ease.
Why a Studio? Why Now?
A dedicated studio isn’t just about having more space; it’s about agility, efficiency, and creative freedom. Having our own studio allows us to:
Respond quickly to client needs, with the ability to shoot on short notice.
Conduct test shoots, refining creative ideas before full-scale production.
Elevate our food and beverage work, with a kitchen tailored for beautiful, seamless content creation.
Enhance our interview-based productions, providing a controlled environment for high-quality storytelling.
Support non-food and beverage clients, with the ability to build small sets, host interviews, and produce high-quality testimonial shoots in a professional setting.
Beyond our commercial work, we’re passionate about supporting micro-businesses and sustainable brands by offering access to our studio. We believe that high-quality content shouldn’t only be available to the biggest players—it should be accessible to innovative brands making a difference.
Our move to Pink Brick Studios represents a commitment to delivering the best for our clients while also opening doors for emerging businesses. It’s an exciting new chapter for ETB, and we can’t wait to see what we create together.
