Ovarian Cancer Australia

Giving Day 2026

The brief:

Ovarian Cancer Australia engaged ETB to create a campaign that would highlight the importance of connection and support for women navigating diagnosis and treatment. With many experiencing isolation, both physically and emotionally, the objective was to bring visibility to OCA’s support networks and demonstrate the real impact they have on people’s lives. The campaign needed to feel authentic and human, encouraging audiences to engage with and support OCA’s Giving Day initiative.

The outcome:

This film tells the story of Chloe and Charlotte, two women who connected through OCA’s online support community during treatment, forming a meaningful friendship despite living in different states. Their journey culminates in their first in-person meeting, an intimate and moving moment that captures the power of connection and shared experience.

Created in support of Ovarian Cancer Australia’s Giving Day, the piece brings a human face to the organisation’s work, highlighting the critical role of community in ensuring no one faces cancer alone. By focusing on real stories, the campaign drives emotional engagement while reinforcing the value of accessible support networks and encouraging national participation in the Giving Day initiative.
